Dr. Turia Barbash (ND) is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND). She earned her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.
Before becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Turia practiced as a medical doctor and Associate Professor of Pediatrics for over 20 years. Her training includes pediatrics, gastroenterology, endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, neonatology, emergency medicine, and intensive care. She also has extensive experience in intravenous therapy, pediatric care, and hormonal therapy for children.
Despite her success in conventional medicine, she became motivated to pursue naturopathic medicine after recognizing the limitations of prescription-based care. She is dedicated to uncovering the root causes of illness and creating individualized treatment plans that focus on whole-body wellness.
